1) Dr Wulf Schubert,
Professor at the Graz University of Technology
for Rock Mechanics and Tunnelling since 1992, President of the
Austrian Society for Geomechanics . Currently he is a senior partner
at the Gruppe Geotechnik Graz Consulting Company.

2) Dr. Kurt Klima , Professor Kurt has been with the Institute of Applied
Geosciences at Graz University of Technology. Professional Engineer
and senior partner at the 3G Gruppe Geotechnik Graz ZT GmbH
geotechnical consulting company.

Program 'Training of Trainers' di bawah Kementerian Sumber Manusia

Kursus NOSS, iaitu National Occupational Skill Standard of Malaysia, Tahap 3, peringkat 'Training of Trainers (TOT)' yg akan berlangsung di FKA UiTM Shah Alam. Program-program tersebut adalah:

1. OSH @ construction sites

2. Building & construction supervision

3. Engineering draughtsmanships

Jumlah jam ialah 48, 72 & 84. Kursus-kursus pada amnya hanya akan dijalankan dihujung minggu kecuali beberapa hari utk program-program yg tertentu. Syarat mengikuti kursus TOT ini ialah mempunyai pengalaman kerja selama 2 tahun tanpa ditetapkan kelayakan minimum akademik. Kementerian Sumber Manusia telah menetapkan 25 oang bagi setiap program. Kehadiran adalah percuma & makan/minum serta bahan kursus disediakan. Walaubagaimanapun, perjalanan, penginapan & makan malam tidak disediakan & adalah tanggungan sendiri.

The workshop is to serve as a clarification session for “would-be” Corporate Members. All graduate members
with more than 3 years experience are encouraged to attend the workshop and to apply for the Professional
Interview thereafter. Members who are interested to participate are requested to return the reply slip to the
IEM Secretariat by 15 July 2009 together with the commitment fee payable to The Institution of Engineers,
Malaysia. Please note that the commitment fee must be settled prior to the workshop.
